Patrolman Michael J. Bushman was killed on Nov. 25, in a single vehicle crash when his cruiser rolled over several times.
Another officer located his body, laying next to his cruiser, several hours after the incident. The cause of the accident was undetermined.
Bushman had been with the San Diego Police Department for 16 months.
His wife and daughter survived him.
